Société Générale, Técnicas Reunidas finance refinery expansion

On 11 June 2012, Petroperu president Humberto Campodónico met with representatives of French Bank Société Générale, as well as Spanish company Técnicas Reunidas, to establish a financing plan for the expansion of La Talara oil refinery in the northwestern province of Piura, with Société Générale taking the lead. The refinery’s expansion is expected to increase production by 50 percent.
