Police confiscate US$1.15 million

Honduran National Police announced the seizure of US$1,150,000 in a village near the small town of Cuyamel, in the eastern Department of Olancho. The police detained one person and two vehicles and found military-style weapons including grenade launchers and machine guns. Police did not comment on who owned the weapons or money.
