Path to U.N. Security Council membership receives U.S. support

On 16 April 2012, U.S. Secretary of State Hillary Clinton said the U.S. is committed to the reform of the U.N. Security Council, and will support the entrance of Brazil in the future once international consensus is built around the matter.
