Nationwide operation leads to multiple incarcerations

On 5 April 2012, authorities of the National Civil Police (PNC) reported that a nationwide operation led to the arrest of at least 106 people for various crimes in the last 24 hours and the recovery of several stolen vehicles. The arrests were for traffic violations, drug possession, disorderly conduct, illegal possession of a firearm, attempting to enter a prison cell, driving a stolen vehicle, assault, and other crimes.
