National Police adjust death toll at New Years’ Eve massacre

On 3 January 2013, newspaper El Tiempo reported that 13 people, rather than the nine initially reported, died in the New Year’s Eve massacre in Envigado, Antioquia province during a party attended by several members of the Envigado Office criminal gang. The National Police investigated rumors that four more people might have been removed from the crime scene before authorities arrived.
