National Civilian Police reveal agent shortfall

On 6 June 2012, Government Minister Mauricio López Bonilla affirmed that the National Civilian Police face a shortfall of 2,800 agents for current public security demands. López Bonilla added that 1,600 agents would be promoted from the PNC academy and vacations would be suspended to meet the security demand.
