High food prices cause demands for wage adjustment

On 5 of February 2013, the union Plenario Intersindical de Trabajadores - Convención Nacional de Trabajadores (PIT-CNT) announced the need to adjust wages in the face of high food prices and inflation. Inflation increased 8.72 percent in the last 12 months, including 1.9 percent in January 2013.
