Finance Minister recommends contingency plan for ICE

On 22 June 2012, Finance Minister Édgar Ayales warned that the Costa Rican Electricity Institute’s (ICE) recent financial struggles warrant an urgent contingency plan. Ayales announced that ICE will have to adjust its finances to reflect its total losses of approximately US$4.5 million in 2011.
