Finance and Economics Minister promotes growth in Berlin visit

On 13 June 2012, while in Berlin to promote Peru as an emerging economy, Finance and Economics Minster Jose Miguel Castilla noted added that poverty rates have declined in Peru more substantially than in any other Latin American country during the last decade, with only 30 percent living below the poverty line. Castilla further predicted that income per capita in Peru would exceed the global average by 2020.
