Federal Police arrest five alleged Los Zetas members

On 5 June 2012, Federal Police arrested five alleged members of Los Zetas in Linares, Nuevo León for involvement in a kidnapping of citrus merchants. Authorities seized assault rifles, 22 grenade launchers, communications equipment, torture tables, and drugs. The detainees were charged with organized crime, drug crime, and illegal possession of firearms and explosives.
