Defense Minister negotiates with Ecuador for cooperation on development

Deputy Foreign Minister Juan Carlos Alurralde and his Ecuadoran counterpart, Kintto Lucas, signed a series of agreements following a three-day meeting in La Paz on 4 April 2012, including a Technical and Scientific Cooperation Framework Agreement between the Ecuadoran Agriculture, Ranching, Aquaculture and Fishing Ministries and the Bolivia’s Rural and Land Development Ministry, as well as joint accords to promote energy and tourism.
