Central America, E.U. set to formalize trade agreement

On 28 May 2012, Salvadoran Economy Vice Minister Roger Hernández confirmed that the Association Agreement between the European Union and Central America would be signed on 29 June 2012 in Tegucigalpa, Honduras. The agreement will increase European investment in Central America and consolidate existing commercial relations between the two regions.
