Arrest warrant issued for Federal Police members

On 9 November 2012, the Federal Public Ministry, attached to the Assistant Attorney General’s Office of Regional Control, Legal Procedures and Protection, obtained an arrest warrant for 14 federal police officers from the Tlalpan station in relation to an incident on 24 August 2012. They were arrested for aggravated homicide and an attempt to damage property. Among them were the officers that tried to assassinate two officials from the U.S. embassy.
