Army seizes weapons stockpile

On 15 June 2012, the army seized a large stockpile of war material allegedly belonging to the FARC in Puerto Asis, a municipality in the Putumayo department close to the Ecuadoran border. Security forces believe the materials were about to be distributed among the FARC fronts that operate in the area.
